Maturation	The ageing of this wine is a fascinating process that elevates it to an exceptional pleasure experience. It is made using the double-barrique method, which is particularly elaborate and produces an impressive variety of aromas and complex nuances of flavor. The wine first matures for eight months in new barrique barrels. This first phase gives it a distinctive woody note and intense aromas such as vanilla and roasted aromas, which are created by the close contact with the fresh wood. After this first maturation, the wine is transferred to completely new barrique barrels, where it spends a further eight months. This step opens up a new dimension of flavor development for the wine, as the fresh barrels release additional roasted aromas while gently rounding off the existing tannins. This double maturation in new barrels allows the wine to develop a fascinating variety of flavors - from intense vanilla tones and subtle smoky nuances to delicate chocolate and spicy notes. The careful handling and sophisticated method of ageing not only ensure an impressive structure, but also a harmonious aroma that makes the wine a truly exquisite experience.

The Montepulciano from Jasci & Marchesani in Abruzzo is an impressive DOC wine that impresses with its dark color and complex aromas. Following a complex double-barrique method, the wine matures for 16 months in new barrique barrels, which gives it rich vanilla, roasted aromas and subtle notes of cocoa. Its aroma combines ripe cherries with earthy accents and a pinch of coffee, creating an inviting presence.
