Maturation

This wine is the result of careful vinification, embodying the balance between craftsmanship and nature. The grape selection begins in the vineyard, where only the most flawless berries are hand-picked. This selective approach ensures that only the best quality grapes are used in the subsequent production process. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks, with precise temperature control to preserve the freshness and vibrancy of the aromas. Natural fermentation is initiated by indigenous yeasts, which lend the grape aromas their characteristic authenticity. This carefully regulated phase lasts for several weeks, giving the wine its rich color and complexity. After fermentation, the wine is allowed to develop its finesse in partially new French oak barrels. This optimally applied refinement in wood not only gives it structure but also enhances its natural tannins and aromatic diversity without overpowering them. Here, the wine remains for up to 12 months before undergoing gentle bottle aging to harmoniously blend its aromas and further round out the texture. The result is a wine of remarkable depth and balance, with a bouquet characterized by ripe fruit notes and fine spices, a poetic interplay of nature and patience.

Taste

This wine initially unfolds with a vibrant abundance of fruit, with dominant notes of ripe pineapple and juicy mango. These exotic components are subtly accompanied by hints of ripe peaches and pears, lending the wine a sunny sweetness. In the second breath, floral nuances open up, reminiscent of jasmine and orange blossoms. These floral notes give the wine an elegant lightness that blends harmoniously with the fruitiness. Spicy undertones, possibly of white pepper and cloves, enrich the bouquet and offer a fine, piquant dimension that complements the fruit character. Mineral notes, reminiscent of wet gravel or chalky-stony accents, bring a refreshing clarity and structure, the feeling of mineral water or spring water. At the same time, they give the wine an invigorating freshness. On the palate, the wine is powerful and well-structured. The various aromas are excellently balanced – no note dominates, but rather complements the overall picture to form a harmonious whole. The finish is long-lasting and smooth, leaving a lingering taste of ripe fruit and a fine spice on the tongue. The well-integrated acidity rounds off this aromatic dance, ensuring that the wine remains lively and invites you to take another sip. Thus, it shows an elegance and clarity that underline the careful aging and the talent of the winemaker.

Serving suggestion

This wine is a harmonious accompaniment to a diverse range of dishes. Its finely tuned structure and balanced flavor profile make it particularly suitable for accentuating the delicate nuances of a creamy risotto. The tender texture of the risotto and the flavor depth of the wine form a symbiosis that enchants the palate. This wine is also a perfect partner for a heartily spiced fish soup. The delicate aromas of the sea and the refined herbal notes of the soup are wonderfully complemented by the elegance of the wine, without overpowering them. The minerality and fruit of the wine highlight the characteristics of the fish and spices. In addition, this versatile wine unfolds its qualities when accompanying white meat. Whether it's tender chicken, fine veal, or carefully prepared turkey, the wine blends seamlessly into the taste experience. The creamy, spicy, or even slightly piquant preparation methods are brilliantly emphasized by the freshness and subtle acidity of the wine. In summary, this wine testifies to the art of subtly accompanying culinary delights without pushing itself into the foreground. Whether at a romantic dinner for two or a convivial evening with friends, it will do justice to any occasion and ensure enjoyable moments.
