Maturation	Amarone is a truly fascinating wine, whose story of origin already tantalizes the senses. The grapes are harvested by hand in the golden days of September and then left to wither in special storage rooms. This process concentrates the aromas and causes the grapes to lose up to 40% of their weight. The harvest is followed by a maceration period of around 45 days, during which the grapes are gently processed. Fermentation takes place at mild temperatures and ensures a harmonious balance of fruit and elegance. The wine then matures for around 24 months in large Slovenian oak barrels, where it develops its complex aromas. Finally, after ageing in the bottle, the Amarone shines in all its glory: ripe cherries, dried fruit and fine spices combine to create a majestic taste experience. Amarone is a remarkable wine whose fascinating creation already stimulates the senses. Hand-picked grapes are dried in special storage rooms, whereby a considerable part of their weight is lost and the aromas are concentrated. After intensive maceration and gentle fermentation, the wine matures for around 24 months in large Slovenian oak barrels to develop its complex aromas. With an opulent bouquet of ripe cherries, blackberries and a hint of dried fruit, the aroma beguiles the senses. The taste is velvety and intense, with notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate and subtle hints of tobacco. A long-lasting, seductive finish rounds off the experience. The Luciano Arduini winery is picturesquely situated in the Valpolicella region, surrounded by centuries-old cypress trees and the historic "Fongo spring". Founded in the 1940s by grandfather Gabriele, it has developed over generations. Today, Luciano Arduini, who combines the tradition of his father Battista with modern approaches, runs the winery. Wines of the highest quality are produced in the new, modern winery. Luciano and his son Andrea lovingly look after the vines, while the family is also active in looking after guests. The winery combines tradition and innovation and remains true to Gabriele's heritage while constantly evolving.
